About

I'm Brigit Schroeder, a software engineer growing my data science skills with an emphasis in healthcare analytics.

This site documents one hundred real investigations using public healthcare data. Each one starts with a genuine question — something I don't know the answer to — and works through the data honestly, including the dead ends and surprises.

The tools: Python, SQL, pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, and Jupyter notebooks. The data: publicly available datasets from NHANES, SAMHSA, CMS, and others.

Why one hundred?

A hundred investigations is enough to build real fluency — not just with the tools, but with the thinking process behind good data analysis. The goal isn't a hundred perfect analyses. It's a hundred honest ones.
